The Graduate Program in Computer Science (PPGInf) began in 2003 with the creation of the master's degree program. The doctoral program was established in the second semester of 2010. Both the master's and doctoral programs aim to provide students with a solid theoretical background in Computer Science, as well as updated and high-quality specific training, introducing students to the world of high-quality academic research.

Mission

The mission of PPGInf is to produce and disseminate knowledge of excellence, with national and international recognition, conducting academic research and training researchers in the field of computing.

A graduate program with consolidated Master's and Doctoral programs, with integrated research groups and lines, recognized by the scientific community, with a faculty engaged in intellectual production of excellence, capable of attracting Brazilian and foreign students, stimulating multidisciplinary cooperation with other internationally renowned research groups, and training doctoral students with high potential for leadership.
