Pursuant to PPGI Resolution 010/2025, the PPGI Scholarship Committee is the body responsible for:

I. Monitoring the use of scholarships awarded to students in the Program, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations—including those established by funding agencies—about these scholarships.

II. Suggesting to the Post-Graduation Program in Informatics College the definition of criteria for the distribution of scholarships intended for the Program and its students.

III. Managing the distribution and renewal of scholarships intended for the Program and its students.

The internal regulations for students who received scholarships through December 2025 are outlined in the PPGI Resolution 001/2024. For students who begin receiving scholarships starting in 2026, the internal regulations are outlined in the PPGI Resolution 003/2026.

Both the implementation of new scholarships and the renewal of existing scholarships are subject to selection by the Scholarship Committee. Calls for expressions of interest are generally issued at the beginning of the semester. Calls are announced in PPGI news and via the email addresses of active students in the program (as registered in SIGAA). Scholarship recipients whose term is ending and who wish to apply for renewal must express interest in the call immediately preceding its closing.
