Professor Edna gave a lecture at the University Consortium of Pori - Finland

Professor Edna Dias Canedo gave the lecture “AI's Hidden Dangers: Why You Should Care” at the University Consortium of Pori, in Pori, Finland, at the invitation of the GPT Laboratory of the SEInts research group at the University of Tampere.

 

The SEIntS research group at the University of Tampere, which is based at the University Center of Pori, Professor Edna Dias Canedo, a full professor at the University of Brasília (UnB), for a visit to Pori and Tampere from May 27 to June 5, 2024. During the visit, the professor got to know the GPT laboratory and the research group's work related to the use of artificial intelligence and its extensive language models.

 

As part of her visit, Professor Canedo gave a public lecture in English on the “Ethics of AI and its meaning” on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the University Center in Pori
